Ruth Moen believes that anyone can paint. Many people share the belief that they aren't creatively inclined or that they are incapable of making art. Ruth believes that by putting yourself in a childlike mindset where instead of being overwhelmed by the larger project you instead focus on creating basic, childlike objects and simply organize them onto your project. The focus becomes the immediate task at hand, the individual brush stroke instead of the stress of being overwhelmed by an entire art piece. 

TIme spent in the studio with Ruth isn't focused on learning how to paint but rather learning how to experience and immerse yourself in the creative process. Ruth's way of approaching art relies less on the art itself and instead focuses on the importance of embracing creative freedom. Ruth believes in the “entanglement” of artists expressing themselves in shared creative spaces and the positive energy it creates. The connections built and strengthened through art are fundamentally different from those created in any other way. Ruth aims to show this through her unique creative process she's spent decades discovering and perfecting.

Ruth through her intensely spiritual experiences in Tibet discovered The Art Voice, an inner voice that when accessed allows the truest most natural form of expression . For Ruth this expression comes in the form of her whimsical yet complex art pieces. Ruth aims to help as many people as she can discover their own Art Voice, their inner monologue of true creative expression unburdened by overthinking and hesitancy to begin.
